Be The Light

At Noor, we recognize that aging and the changes that come along with it can be a challenging and confusing phase, not only for seniors themselves, but for their families and caregivers as well. Since its inception in 2009, Noor's goal was to bridge the gap between APIIDA-BIPOC community members and elderly care services. As caregivers for our own

loved ones, we especially understand the difficulties that come with finding care that aligns with cultural values and traditions, especially for APIIDA and BIPOC families.

While we know caregiving for our loved ones can be rewarding, we also understand that caregiving can be emotionally and physically demanding for family members. Working alongside you as Elderly Care Resource Advisors, we support you in navigating the process of caring for your aging loved ones and offer various forms of resources. We believe that the family is an integral part of the caregiving team, and we work closely with you to ensure that your loved one receives the best possible support.

We are dedicated to providing empathetic, person-centered, and family-centered training and guidance to ensure the seniors receive the care they deserve. Our culturally responsive program is designed to ensure that our participants receive respectful and safe support maintaining their independence, autonomy, and dignity, while also respecting their cultural values and traditions.
