From early childhood development and education to elderly care support services, our founder, Dr. Aliya S. Khizer, has intentionally and consciously woven together each program, model of service delivery, and practice to reflect the diverse communities we proudly serve. Since its inception in 1992, ASK Academy Family & Education Center’s journey began with the simple drawing on a piece of paper and a premise of equitable access and belonging to community resources and social services, specifically education and health. It was this premise that launched a program into a comprehensive community organization rooted in social equity and equality. Over two decades later, we continue to champion equitable access and belonging for children, youth, and parents, and have expanded our reach to include aging adults, families, and caregivers from vulnerable, marginalized, and disenfranchised communities. Identifying gaps in educational and health resources for APIIDA and BIPOC communities, ASK Academy Family & Education Center, LLC has successfully positioned itself to proudly become a bridge between these resources and the communities we serve.
Established to increase whole life chances through the conscious investment of equitable access to basic education and health resources for the most vulnerable, underserved, and overlooked communities - our children and our elderly.
In a world that is diverse in people and varied in thought, we will continue to intentionally and consciously provide equitable, accessible, safe, nurturing, and enriching, environments to uplift and champion you and your loved ones - becoming an extension of your village.
We envision a world where all communities have equitable access to the resources and services necessary to improve the lives of children, youth, parents, elderly adults, and caregivers we serve in our local and global communities.
At ASK Academy Family & Education Center, LLC and throughout our programs, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, Accessibility, and Sustainability are at the heart and core of who we are. Our commitment to these values is unwavering and can be found though all our programs from conceptual design to implemented practice. These values have and continue to be a central to our founding over two decades ago and our continued movement towards collective impact. We recognize the value and power in diverse thought, perspectives, and lived-experiences and harness it to empower the communities we proudly serve.
